Call For Extended Abstracts: For selecting submissions to the Special Issue of CEUS on Cyberinfrastructure

As a follow up to the Cyberinfrastructure sessions organized at the 2008 AAG annual meeting, we will guest edit a March 2009 special issue of the journal of Computers, Environment and Urban Systems to capture the experiences gained in research, development, and education in Cyberinfrastructures. Topics include but are not limited to:

o High Performance and Cyber-Computing
o Geospatial Semantic Web and Knowledge Systems
o Geospatial Interoperability
o Spatial Web Portals
o Applied Earth Sciences enabled by Cyberinfrastructure

We invite papers up to about 1000 words in length that include introduction, methodology, experiments, contribution, and references of a paper. Submissions will be reviewed to select about 10 full paper submissions, of which 6-8 papers will be accepted to be published by the Journal of Computers, Environment and Urban Systems depending on the quality and quantity of submissions. The full paper will go through peer review process. The deadline for submissions is March 31, 2008.
